Although Coach Esslinger is no longer running with us presently, we are still running for him! He will always be in our hearts and we will use the memory of who he was to encourage us to be better people and runners!

Chris Cota - HEAD COACH

This is Chris' 6th year with the program, and his 2nd as a Head Coach.
Coach Cota has 15 years of coaching experience, 9 of which he coached girls softball. He has also coached soccer, baseball, and kids with special needs. In the Spring, Cota choaches the girls' distance team in track & field. Cota is a certified Parkour instructor, as well.
Chris Cota has a daughter that has gone through the DHHS distance program and is currently running for San Francisco State University. Coach Cota runs with the girls and is a strong motivator.
