Coach Butler is a retired teacher, with an impressive 40 years at Dana. Coach Butler is beginning his 43rd year at the helm of the Dolphin program. With a .790 Varsity winning percentage, his teams have won 22 South Coast League Titles, 6 Orange County Titles, 5 CIF-SS Titles, 4 California Div I State Titles, and 7 of 10 possible bids to Nike Cross Nationals in Oregon. Coach Butler has been named the Orange County "Cross Country Coach of the Year" 7 times and was named California's "Cross Country Coach of the Year" in 2009! Butler was also inducted into the Mt. SAC Hall of Fame in 2012!

Craig Dunn
As an assistant for the past 15 years, Coach Dunn has been an integral part in the run of state meet appearances - 13 out of the last 14 years. He also has been the Track & Field head coach for the past 7 years, having 4 consecutive Orange County Titles and 1 CIF-SS, Div I, Title to his credit. He was named the Orange County "Track Coach of the Year" in 2008 & 2009.

Jim Copp
Coach Copp has been assisting the boys and girls teams for the past 13 years. He is one of the boy's "Field Generals" and inspirational leaders. He also is the Boys' Distance Assistant in Track.

Marni Cota
Montana State University's Hall of Fame runner and Physical Therapist, has been a runner for 39 years. For the past 9 years she has been coaching at Dana Hills and helping our athletes stay injury free.
